Kwaripass trek


  • DAY 01: HARIDWAR - JOSHIMATH / AULI (2450M) (DRIVE / 280 KMS / 8 - 9 HRS)

    We will meet at Haridwar railway station at 7 AM and from here board a vehicle (arranged by us) and be driven up to Auli. This is a long but interesting drive. You will for most part of the journey drive along the Ganga & Alaknandarivers. En route you will be crossing the holy towns of Rishikesh, Dev Prayag & Rudra Prayag. Overnight in hotel/ Lodge.

  • DAY 02: AULI - DHAK - GULLING (DRIVE/ 1 HR) (TREK/ 3 – 3.5 HRS)

    Post breakfast be driven to Dhak, the starting point of your trek which is marked with a few shops. From Dhak we start trekking towards Gulling. The trek starts through village fields on a prominent trail & goes past few Himalayan villages, letting you capture someupclose views of day to daylife of the inhabitants. The trail winds up on top of the villages & sets you into the wilderness of the forest, finally taking you to the camp at Gulling.

  • DAY 03: GULLING - KUARI PASS MEADOWS (3650 M) - GULLING (2800 M) (TREK / 7 - 8 HRS)

    Today it is mandatory for the trekkers to start at 6.00 am.The trail from Base Camp Gulling climbs to reach Khulara which is a slightly steep climb. From Khulara the trail continues to climb initially and becomes gradual as it proceeds towards Kuari meadows/Kuari pass. The trail today will entice you with snow , walking on thick sheets of fresh snow with the crisp mountain air and brilliant views will be a blissful delight. You might get lucky and pug marks your steps and make way on the freshly laid snow. The white sheets of snow will surely set the mood in happy spirits. Today we go through a series of ascends on snow carpeted meadows which keeps on getting better as we move up. Walking on white hues of snow is just blissful. The mountain air is crisp. The views are going to be great throughout so we keep your cameras handy. We will reach Kuari Pass in about 5 hours. Our guide might give you the option of not going to the actual pass (which is nearby) and instead climb another vantage point with better views so take a call depending upon what you feel like doing. After spending sometime at the vantage point (Kuari meadows) we will start walking back to Base camp Gulling. On reaching Gulling, we will enjoy awaited hot cup of tea and overnight stay in tents.


    After breakfast we set on the trail that traverses gradually from Gulling to Dhak. On your way back you will witness the last of Himalayan panorama of underlying valleys, gigantic Himalayas & beautiful villages. From Dhak, we descend down to the road head boarding our awaiting vehicle which takes us to our River Side Camp, Jayalgarh.Check into the campsite by the Alaknandariver& unwind. Dinner & Overnight in tents.


    After breakfast drive down to Haridwar. Trip ends here

  • If due to bad weather, sickness, natural calamity or any other personal reasons,
    the itinerary is changed on ground the extra charges arising due to it will be
    borne by the guests. same will be applicable if a guest decide to change the
    itinerary due to personal reason. Also if days are cut short on the trek/trips
    for any of the above reasons GIO Adventures will not be liable to make hotel
    arrangements at the base or any other location for the guests
  • Guest will be required to fill up an indemnity form before embarking on the
  • We request you to kindly disclose/share information if suffering from any major
    ailment. We request you to submit your health Certificate
  • On our fixed group departures please note that we will follow a fixed schedule &
    standardised services. In case of individual requirements other than what is
    offered as part of the package, we might not be able to entertain them so please
    be aware of this fact
  • In case of trips/treks with a backup day, where this backup day is not utilised
    for whatever reasons GIO will not be liable to make hotel or any other
  • In case a departure cancelled due to bad weather conditions guest will receive

  • Charges for a porter/mule to carry personal bag throughout the
    trek (not more than 10 kgs) per person for the complete trek. If you want us to
    arrange for portage of your personal luggage you can book the same by selecting
    the option of Personal Luggage Charges.
